Memory Lane

I know! Three blog posts in one day! Not bad for me, eh? Enjoy the pics. and the fun details of the Beast's first day of school. But, I saw this on MOF Heidi's blog, and thought I totally needed to do it, too. (Mostly because I LOVE having comments on my blog).

Memory Lane

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot. Anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses. If you leave me a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one for you.

Aimee,

Okay, I know that I haven't met you in person, but I still wanted to take a minute to tell you what I love about you!!!

I have always been super impressed with you. You take your challenges in stride and you love others and your family like crazy. You are such an amazing woman, and I wish I were even half as cool as you.

Not only that, but I love that you say it like it is and that you aren't afraid to say anything. I feel like I can connect with you on that level because I have been known to share way too much information. Oops. But you are wonderful and you are so easy to talk to. I love your sense of humor and also the way you seem to be able to relate to anyone. You are amazing and I love ya! Come back to the board soon, PLEASE!!!

i still remember the smell of your house. i couldn't describe it, but i can still smell it. i remember your huge kitchen, and eating pasta with butter, broccoli, and cheese; and watching Days of Our Lives on a little tiny TV. I have no idea why, but that is the strongest memory of you I have... weird, huh?
miss ya aimee :)

When I think of you I always think of a birthday party at Hillcrest park about a year ago and of you saying, "Can I give you a ride to the hospital? I'm your visiting teacher I feel like I need to do something." Do you remember?

Hope that your having a great day!

I do totally laugh at that because we were at a park ACROSS THE STREET from the hospital when your water broke. But I had to do something.

My favorite memory of you, Aimee, is when you came to visit me in the hospital after The Oldest was born. You shared things with me that no.one.else. would. And it was all EXACTLY what I needed to hear.

You're awesome!

Hi Aimee,

My children and I will always remember you and the sign language classes at the "old" school -- your committment and energy, too. Thank you for sharing with us!

We don't have a blog, but enjoy reading about you and your family! :)

Okay, I couldn't resist and I'm pretty sure you would share the same things on my blog if you had the chance:
1. Triple decker tuna fish and pickle sandwhiches
2. The lead blanket(I'm convinced that it saved us from freezing to death that night)
3. Motorcycle Mamas FOREVER
4. What was his name? Rex? Or Bruce?
I LOVE YOU MORE THAN MY LUGGAGE EE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for being a true friend.
