One Week Doctor-Free!

I haven't had much time to get on and update my blog this past week. I've been working on napping. I know that sounds crazy, but it's exactly what I've been doing. Finding time to nap and still managing to get my chores done is truly work. But, it's been work worth doing. Who knew a little bit of sleep during the day would make such a world of difference?

Well, there might be just a little more to my recent feelings of relaxation. I'm proud to see that I didn't set foot into one doctor's office last week for a sick visit. Not once. It's been a couple of months since I could say that. Little Guy did have to go get his ears checked, but it was a scheduled appointment rather than a sick visit.

I take the three little ones to the doctor tomorrow to follow up from their hospital stays and RSV. My fingers are crossed for good news. I'm really not too worried about Pretty. She's back to her old wild and crazy self. I knew she was feeling better when she resumed stealing the processor of the Beast's head. That's my girl!

Snort is back to eating like it's going out of style. That's a good sign for him. He is definately a bit more clingy than usual. It is kind of nice to have such a cuddlebug, though. He loves to stroke our cheeks and lay his head on our shoulders. The fuzzy baby-fine hairs on his head, the tiny giggle, and the tight squeezes make him into a real life teddy bear. Who could ask for more?

Little Guy looks to be growing like a weed. He is delighted to have been introduced to the bottle. I'm not a fan, but will do what it takes to help him grow and stay healthy. We can't wait to see how much he weighs tomorrow. He wears his hearing aids like a pro, though I don't know how much they do for him.

All in all, I can't say I have anything to complain about. After what we've experienced recently, we've learned to be grateful for each and every blessing that comes into our life. Right now, one week doctor-free is a huge blessing.
